Susana Pinto (female) is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Research Centre “Didactics and Technology in Education of Trainers” and an invited teacher at the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro, where she teaches and supervises Master’s students in the area of Language Teacher Education. She integrates the Open Laboratory for Foreign Language Learning (LALE). She is member of the European Language Council Special interest Group 4 – Implementing language policies in Higher Education Institutions.
Research and publication areas are: language education policies; plurilingual and intercultural education; higher education language policies; research language policies. She has participated in national and international projects underlying on principles of education for linguistic and cultural diversity. Peer esteem indicators include: reviewer for journals (Indagatio Didatica); external examiner of Master theses; invitations to give seminars or keynotes.
