Attualmente è full-time lecturer presso la California State University, Long Beach e collabora con l’Università degli Studi di Roma Tre, in qualità di consulente esterno. Ha ottenuto il dottorato di ricerca nel 2013 presso l’Università per Stranieri di Siena, con una tesi diretta dalla prof.ssa Antonella Benucci sull’intercomprensione orale.
